Job summary

The Nuclear Construction Site Manager at Bechtel Corporation leads field execution for nuclear construction on major EPC projects. You will ensure safe, compliant site operations, oversee planning, subcontractor coordination, and workface execution, while tracking schedule, quality, and costs.

You will collaborate with project management, engineering, procurement, safety, and subcontractors to meet nuclear quality standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring readiness for turnover and startup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or master’s degree (or international equivalent) with 18+ years of relevant experience, or 22+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a United States citizen to be considered for employment.
• Ability to perform walkdowns and physically demanding site activities, including climbing and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of Bechtel, subcontractors, and suppliers across construction activities.
• Own site management including safety, schedule, cost control, and quality adherence.
• Develop and execute construction, safety, labor, and site-rule plans.
• Ensure compliance with Bechtel’s safety programs and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and manage schedules, staffing, and material/equipment needs.
• Maintain client relationships and lead communications for site activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure readiness for turnover and startup.
