Job summary

TXU Retail Services Company seeks a civil/structural engineering manager to oversee scope for Extended Power Uprate projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with NRC requirements, direct design efforts, and coordinate with various stakeholders including EPC contractors.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering and extensive experience in nuclear and industrial engineering. The role involves ensuring safe, constructible solutions supporting plant reliability and operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of nuclear or heavy industrial engineering experience, with 5+ years in civil/structural design.
• Experience on Extended Power Uprates or large component replacements.
• Strong knowledge of NRC, INPO, ASME, ANSI, and ACI/AISC codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the civil/structural engineering scope for EPU projects.
• Direct and review civil/structural designs.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and site engineering.
• Support independent third-party reviews.
• Ensure designs support long-term operability and integration.
