Job summary

Examplecorpsandbox is looking for a dedicated Civil/Structural Engineer for their Nuclear Service Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding and coordinating roles with other engineering disciplines, preparing design studies, and managing project scopes.

A B.S. in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in power system design in the Nuclear Industry are required. Strong proficiency in structural calculations and familiarity with building codes are essential. This full-time position is located in Baton Rouge, LA or Kennesaw, GA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of power system design experience in the Nuclear Industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired.
• Ability to coordinate with other engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Participating in reviewing designs and checking data prepared by others.
• Managing budget, scope, schedule, and quality of work assignments.
• Preparing engineering estimates and project scopes.

Skills

Civil Engineering expertise

Power system design experience

Proficiency in structural calculations

Knowledge of computer analysis codes

Proficient in Word and Excel

Knowledge of International Building code

Good communication skills
