Kiewit Nuclear Solutions in Lenexa, KS seeks a Civil Estimator to analyze bid documents and prepare quantity and cost evaluations for civil construction scopes. The role involves developing execution plans and schedules during the pre-project phase and requires a strong civil projects background.

Responsibilities include bid package alignment, cost analysis, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver accurate estimates.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering/Technology (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in heavy industrial construction.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimation tools such as InEight.

Responsabilidades

• Review RFPs to determine scope and estimate requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoff development from drawings and specs.
• Develop estimates to support proposal and bid submittals, including complex price sheets.
• Determine labor, material, equipment costs and subcontractor costs.
• Analyze crew structures for pricing in various labor markets.
• Learn and use InEight Estimating software as a subject matter expert.
• Coordinate bid packages with subcontractors and vendors.
• Assist in developing and aligning execution plans and the basis of estimate.
