Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to join the Nuclear Mechanical Engineering Estimating team. You will contribute to early engineering for nuclear projects by creating deliverables that support cost estimates, collaborating with fabrication and construction teams to ensure safe, cost-effective designs.

The Role emphasizes design development, piping and equipment sizing calculations, and alignment with ASME BPVC standards within a growing nuclear market.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or nuclear engineering (4-year program).
• 3–5+ years in design engineering.
• Proficiency with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes (BPVC).
• Experience creating P&ID, PFD, and general arrangement drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Design development: create and assess concept drawings (P&ID’s, equipment specifications).
• Technical documentation: review designs and perform sizing calculations.
• Identify, define, and resolve issues within scope.
• Travel: occasional travel required (<10%).
