Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Construction-related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1-5+ years of construction, field, or estimating experience.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical drawings/P&IDs.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Bluebeam, Hard Dollar, 3D Lift Plan, SketchUp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical equipment estimates for complex EPC and bid/build projects.
• Analyze drawings and specifications to determine installation quantities and equipment needs.
• Prepare and review bid packages for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Create crane and equipment plans for mechanical installations.
• Review RFPs and project documents to ensure full scope understanding.
• Present estimates to internal leadership and external clients.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to resolve scope gaps.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Stay current on industry trends, tools, and construction methods.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and estimators.
