Job summary

Check Defense is a fast-growing federal contractor seeking a highly capable Strike Phase Instructor who serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting Naval Special Warfare (NSW) surface mobility training programs.

This position provides advanced instruction and operational expertise to Special Boat Teams (SBTs) during Strike Phase training, focusing on Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure (VBSS), Maritime Interdiction Operations (MIO), maritime insertion and extraction techniques, and

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ SWCC experience within the last ten years.
• Five years’ experience as NAVY/NSW Instructor.
• Two years’ experience in NSW Combatant Craft Strike Phase execution.
• Active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• VBSS/MIO instruction to SBTs and assist with schedule development, curriculum management, and logistical planning during the IDTC.
• Liaison with NSWG4 and other Special Operations entities to identify and integrate emerging technologies into the SBT IDTC.
