Job summary

Kinetic Concepts in Coronado, CA is seeking a full-time specialist to support Naval Special Warfare training, VBSS/MIO instruction, and allied maritime operations.

Active Secret clearance is required, with five years SWCC experience, including NSW Instructor duties and Combatant Craft Phase execution, to join the Inter-Deployment Training Cycle team.

Salary ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, and the period of performance extends through 30 March 2027.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience within the last ten years as a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC), with achievement of SWCC Senior qualification in accordance with COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOURINST 3120.3E. SWCC Senior qualification must not have been removed for administrative or disciplinary reasons.
• Five years' experience as a Navy/NSW Instructor. Instructors support or augment active-duty training cadre with subject matter expertise, echelon IV level combat systems integration efforts, scheduling and planning, and classroom instruction.
• Two years' experience in NSW Combatant Craft Strike Phase execution. Familiar with VBSS/MIO operations, insert/extract, and Combatant Craft specific SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide VBSS/MIO instruction to Special Boat Teams operating within the Naval Special Warfare surface mobility community.
• Assist with schedule development, curriculum management, and logistical planning throughout the Inter-Deployment Training Cycle (IDTC).
• Assist with liaison support with NSWG-4 and other Special Operations entities to identify and integrate emerging technologies into the SBT IDTC.

This position supports work performed under a prime contract held by a teaming partner. Placement is contingent upon customer acceptance and successful verification of the required security clearance.
