Community Academy of Philadelphia is seeking an NSLP Program Coordinator to manage and oversee the National School Lunch Program, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local rules and promoting nutritious meals for students.

The role involves eligibility determinations, meal counts, and reimbursement claims, with collaboration across school admins, food service staff, and community partners to optimize program delivery and address challenges.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with NSLP or federally funded child nutrition programs.
• Knowledge of USDA regulations for school nutrition programs.
• Proficiency in data management and reporting software.
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily NSLP operations, ensure compliance with USDA guidelines.
• Conduct eligibility determinations for free/reduced meals and maintain records.
• Prepare and submit reimbursement claims and required reports to the Business Office.
• Train and support FSMC on program requirements, meal patterns and recordkeeping.
• Review FSMC monthly meal counts for accuracy and forward to PDE for processing.
• Monitor compliance through audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with admins, parents and community orgs to promote participation and nutrition education.
• Keep updated on policy changes and provide guidance to ensure ongoing compliance.
