Job summary

Applitrack is hiring an SNP Associate Manager - School Nutrition - Training to oversee school nutrition operations, including SNP, SBP, NSLP, and ASP. This role reports to the Director of the School Nutrition Program and supervises the SNP staff to ensure high standards and accurate reporting.

The position requires ServeSafe certification or the ability to obtain it within six months, a valid DOE Nutrition Manager certification, and at least one year of progressive food service management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; specialized training in school nutrition management preferred.
• Valid ServeSafe certification or the ability to obtain one within six months; DOE Nutrition Manager certification required.
• 1 year experience in food service production and management as an assistant manager; progressive supervision experience required.
• Experience with school nutrition programs and POS/back-office software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all food production activities to maintain a fiscally sound program.
• Ensure USDA and GCPS standardized recipes are followed and serving is compliant.
• Order food, supplies, and equipment; manage inventory using SNP software.
• Receive, store, handle, prepare, and serve food following HACCP standards.
• Train staff and provide team leadership; conduct monthly staff meetings and training.
• Support nutrition education and ensure program integrity across SNP, SBP, NSLP, and ASP.
