Job summary

Met Council is seeking an NSLP Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day NSLP operations at our secondary warehouse and coordinate with the primary warehouse. You will ensure processes run smoothly, manage staff, and keep numbers accurate using Market by Met Council, Salesforce, and Excel.

You will partner with Procurement on inventory, inbound planning, and with a 3PL distribution partner while maintaining compliance with food safety standards and NYS requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing or supervising staff.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/ERP system.
• Valid driver's license preferred; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day NSLP program operations at secondary warehouse.
• Develop operations processes to support program needs.
• Coordinate with Procurement on product management, order fulfillment, inbound planning.
• Schedule warehouse staff, drivers, and vehicles.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries and storage with 3PL partner.
• Use Market by Met Council to track inventory, run reports, and flag discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and NSLP NYS OGS and NYS Agriculture and Markets requirements.
• Provide weekly reporting on operational metrics.
