Job summary

Met Council, America’s largest Jewish charity, seeks an NSLP Operations Manager to lead day-to-day program operations across our secondary warehouse and collaborate with the primary site. You will manage staff and vehicles, coordinate inbound/outbound logistics, and ensure data accuracy using Market by Met Council (Salesforce-based) and Excel.

The role requires 2+ years in warehouse operations and staff supervision, with proficiency in Excel and Salesforce, plus willingness to travel among

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant work experience accepted
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for tracking and reporting
• Experience with Salesforce or similar ERP/inventory systems

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day NSLP program operations at the secondary warehouse and coordinate with the primary warehouse
• Partner with NSLP Procurement Manager on product management and inbound planning
• Schedule and supervise warehouse staff, drivers, and vehicles
• Coordinate inbound deliveries with 3PL partner
• Utilize Salesforce-based ERP to track inventory, generate reports, and flag discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with food safety, warehouse safety and NSLP/NY state requirements
• Report weekly on operational metrics to leadership
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Lead and support operational or warehouse staff
