Job summary

Jabil, a global engineering and manufacturing solutions leader, seeks an Industrial Engineering NPI Trainer to design and deliver training on New Product Introduction processes for manufacturing teams.

You will develop training modules, conduct sessions on the production floor, assess effectiveness, and collaborate with IE, Manufacturing, and Program Management to close gaps and drive NPI excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, time studies, process mapping, line balancing, and capacity planning.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and experience with relevant industrial engineering software tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, CPLP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update training modules and materials for NPI processes including flow, line balancing, time studies, capacity planning, and lean principles.
• Conduct engaging training sessions for engineers, operators, supervisors, and other personnel on the production floor and in classrooms.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and metrics and improve programs accordingly.
• Collaborate with IE, Manufacturing, Operations, and Program Management to identify training gaps and solutions for NPI excellence.
• Provide hands-on coaching during NPI launches and ensure adherence to processes and problem-solving support.
• Stay current with industry practices and Jabil's NPI methodologies to keep content relevant.
• Develop and maintain training documentation systems with outlines, presentations, exercises, and forms.
• Act as SME for NPI industrial engineering principles and guidance.
