Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Industrial Engineering NPI Trainer to develop and deliver training on New Product Introduction processes for manufacturing teams. The role covers creating modules, conducting sessions on the production floor, and measuring training effectiveness across multiple stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in technical training, deep knowledge of lean principles, time studies, and capacity planning, plus proficiency with MS Office and industrial engineering

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, time studies, process mapping, line balancing, and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update training modules and materials for NPI processes, including process flow, line balancing, time studies, capacity planning, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Conduct engaging training sessions for manufacturing engineers, production operators, supervisors, and other personnel, in classroom settings and on the production floor.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, and continuously improve training programs.
• Collaborate with Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and Program Management to identify training gaps and develop NPI excellence solutions.
• Provide hands‑on coaching and support during NPI launches, ensuring adherence to processes and assisting with problem‑solving.
• Stay current with industry best practices, new technologies, and Jabil's internal NPI methodologies to keep content relevant.
• Develop and maintain a robust training documentation system including outlines, presentations, exercises, and evaluation forms.
• Act as a subject matter expert for NPI industrial engineering principles and provide guidance to teams.
