Job summary

Jabil Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineering NPI Trainer to develop and deliver training on New Product Introduction processes. The role focuses on keeping manufacturing teams proficient in lean methods, time studies, and process improvement.

You will design modules, conduct trainings on the floor and in classrooms, and evaluate outcomes to drive continuous improvement across IE, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, time studies, process mapping, line balancing, and capacity planning.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industrial engineering software tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update training modules and materials for NPI processes.
• Conduct engaging training sessions for engineers, operators, and supervisors.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and metrics.
• Collaborate with IE, Manufacturing, Operations, and PM teams to address training gaps.
• Provide hands-on coaching during NPI launches and problem-solving support.
• Stay current with industry practices and Jabil NPI methodologies.
• Develop and maintain training documentation including outlines and exercises.
