Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking an NPI Test Technician to perform testing and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies, subassemblies, and equipment in support of new product introduction and manufacturing. This role executes established test procedures to verify product performance, quality, and functionality while meeting production schedules and performance standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in electrical circuits and assemblies testing.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Adherence to safety, ISO practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs production assembly operations on electronic components and sub-assemblies.
• Uses test procedures, drawings, schematics, and instructions to test and troubleshoot units.
• Sets up, calibrates, tests, and troubleshoots circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Documents test results accurately.
• Works on semi-routine assignments and identifies nonconformities.
• Maintains fixturing, calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance.
• May assist with training other employees and interface with other departments.
