Job summary

Advanced Energy is hiring an experienced NPI Supervisor to lead Pilot Line personnel and prototyping activities, overseeing NPI Assemblers and Test Technicians. You will partner with NPI Planning, Purchasing, and Design teams to meet delivery schedules, quality goals, and implement process improvements.

The role requires strong staffing, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration in a high-mix manufacturing environment, with on-site work in Milpitas, CA.

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant work experience.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
Ability to organize, schedule, coordinate and negotiate effectively.
Experience in high mix/low volume manufacturing or fast-paced prototyping.
Background in electronics/electro-mechanical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Develops and communicates short-term plans aligned with goals.
Lead staffing activities including hiring, performance appraisal, coaching, promotions.
Work cross-functionally with planning, purchasing, and engineering to meet goals.
Coordinate with teams to establish schedules and drive project execution.
Schedule and run assembly/test operations and track progress.
