Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Saint Joseph, MI, seeks a System Integrator, NPI (Manager, Engineering) to lead end-to-end system integration for production development projects. This onsite role requires driving design decisions, validating concepts, and coordinating across production, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

You will manage budgets, perform technical reviews, and ensure milestones align with PDP and WPD2.0 standards, enabling a successful product launch that meets quality targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 5+ years in project engineering or technical design.
• Six Sigma training and strong systems thinking are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrate systems for Production Development Projects using the Whirlpool PDP.
• Scope regional project requests and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage design/cost/quality/time trade-offs within project plan guardrails.
• Lead technical design reviews per project plans and WPD2.0 gates.
• Drive full system validation with predictive methods across stages.
• Guide convergence of system interfaces using systems engineering.
• Oversee engineering budget within platform and regional guardrails.
• Provide monthly engineering updates for CBT and PD reviews.
• Release EBOMs based on architecture and project charter.
• Document variation and special characteristics on prototypes.
• Close FMEA actions and track Occurrence & Detection.
• Coordinate development with manufacturing for flawless launches.
