Job summary

Elbit America is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead and optimize circuit card assembly processes in a defense industry setting. The role ensures compliance with rigorous military/aerospace standards while driving quality, cost, and delivery improvements.

Expertise in SMT, wave soldering, and through-hole assembly is essential. The engineer will develop processes, document work instructions, and support cross-functional teams in manufacturability, automation, and data-driven decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
• Experience with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 defense/aerospace standards.
• Proficiency with SMT equipment, soldering techniques, and AOI.

Responsibilities

• Process Development & Optimization for circuit card assembly including SMT and wave soldering.
• Quality & Compliance with IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, MIL standards.
• Continuous Improvement using Lean, Six Sigma and root-cause analysis.
• Technical Support to production teams; train operators.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration with Design Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Data Analysis & Reporting; implement SPC for key processes.
