Job summary

Titan Circuits is seeking an experienced SMT Engineer to advance manufacturing processes in a high-mix PCB assembly environment. You will be on the production floor, resolving issues in real time, improving process controls, and owning yield performance.

Responsibilities include SMT programming, DOE, NPI readiness, and collaboration with Quality and Production to reduce escapes. Strong PCB and soldering fundamentals are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years SMT engineering in PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing.
• Hands-on SMT and reflow profiling experience.
• Strong IPC‑A‑610, J‑STD‑001 knowledge.
• Ability to read BOMs and drawings.
• Proficient in data analysis, SPC and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Program, test, and maintain SMT equipment programs.
• Prepare and release SMT programs on schedule.
• Develop programs for circuit board assembly with BOMs/drawings.
• Maintain SMT programming processes and documentation.
• Operate automated equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Improve stencil aperture recommendations for print quality.
• Support first-run validation and line-side troubleshooting.
• Maintain libraries and data for repeat jobs.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce setup errors and downtime.
