Job summary

Broadcom in San Jose, CA seeks a Senior Test Development Engineer to lead automated test solutions for RF and mixed-signal products across the NPI lifecycle. This role blends software and systems engineering with deep RF test expertise to deliver scalable, production-ready test systems.

You will define best practices within a worldwide test development organization and mentor junior engineers while driving reusable architectures.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years in automated test development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and TestStand.
• Deep knowledge of RF measurements.
• Ability to debug complex hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of automated test solutions using TestStand and C# on PXI-based ATE.
• Drive RF test development, system integration, and hardware/software debugging.
• Provide design-for-test feedback to engineering teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Advance software/test architectures for reusable, scalable frameworks.
