Job summary

Keysight is seeking an NPI Engineer to apply electrical engineering and measurement knowledge to RF and microwave test equipment development. You will work with an instrumental product team, balancing hands‑on hardware testing with software development and test automation.

The role involves collaborating with R&D, Marketing, Sales, Customer Support and Production to design new models, calibrate algorithms, validate tests, and support production readiness throughout the product life cycle.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with RF/uW circuit experience.
• Strong test and measurement knowledge in RF, microwave theory and applications.
• Experience developing software in an object-oriented style.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing and Production to advance new product models.
• Design and implement calibration algorithms.
• Develop, debug, validate and verify tests for NPI and production.
• Create test fixtures and DFx‑oriented design for manufacturing.
• Manage hardware, measurement, characterization and calibration processes in NPI and production.
• Analyze test data, make product recommendations and document results.
• Review production line specs based on data analysis and statistics.
• Specify components and extend product life via replacements.
• Transition products and processes from development to full production.
