Job summary

Aeva, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor in Mountain View, CA to lead day-to-day NPI and prototype production across multiple programs. You will ensure builds are safe, efficient, and aligned with engineering requirements and schedules.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management to resolve issues, maintain build readiness, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced, configurable environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, NPI, or prototype manufacturing.
• 2+ years of experience leading or supervising manufacturing personnel.
• Associates degree in a technical field mandatory; Bachelors in engineering preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and build execution.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and other technical documentation.
• Experience with ERP, MES, PLM, or manufacturing execution systems.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• NPI & Prototype Production: Supervise daily prototype and NPI production activities across multiple programs and product configurations.
• Team Leadership: Assign daily work and establish priorities; monitor performance and quality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management to resolve issues and ensure availability of parts.
• Production & Configuration Control: Track build status, configuration, and documentation; ensure correct parts and revisions.
• Quality & Continuous Improvement: Drive root-cause analysis and improvements to prototype build processes.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure activities align with safety policies and proper training.
