Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics in Bristol, RI, a long-standing manufacturer of high-temperature thermoplastic components, seeks a Project Engineer to lead concurrent engineering projects, including NPI and process improvements, with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will analyze equipment and processes, design new parts and tools using SolidWorks, Cimatron and Moldflow, and apply Lean and Six Sigma to reduce waste while meeting ISO 9001/AS9100 requirements.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience with CAD design preferred.
• Proficient in SolidWorks; experience with GD&T.
• Lean and Six Sigma familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment, systems and processes to identify and initiate productivity-improving projects.
• Participate with Marketing, Quality Control, Production, Customers and Vendors to complete projects on time and on budget.
• Manage New Product Introduction projects using the established NPI Tollgate process.
• Design processes, parts, fixtures and tools using SolidWorks, Cimatron and Moldflow.
• Ensure parts meet drawing requirements and comply with ISO 9001/AS9100.
