Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics in Bristol, RI, for over 50 years, designs and manufactures high-temperature thermoplastic components for aerospace, defense, energy and medical sectors. The Project Engineer leads multiple concurrent engineering projects, driving NPI, process improvements and on-time, on-budget delivery with a cross-functional team.

Candidates should have an engineering degree (AS or BS) with manufacturing experience, CAD familiarity (SolidWorks, Cimatron), and knowledge of lean or Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's in engineering required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• CAD design experience required; SolidWorks preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma exposure is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment and processes to identify improvement projects.
• Lead NPI and process improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure projects are on time and on budget.
• Design processes, parts, fixtures using CAD tools.
• Support quality and production in root cause analysis.
