Job summary

Tri-Mack Plastics in Bristol, Rhode Island seeks a CNC Team Leader (1st Shift) to support a high-performance manufacturing team. You will monitor quality, coach operators, and drive productivity while maintaining ISO 9001/AS9100 compliance and ITAR/work eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities include ensuring first-piece inspection, in-process QC, and documentation; leading shift run plans; troubleshooting and escalation; and fostering a safe, engaged team focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a CNC manufacturing setting.
• Leadership and team-building with focus on quality and safety.
• Experience with ERP systems; Infor Visual Manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong blueprint interpretation and GD&T knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
• Proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor/coach team members to ensure quality system compliance and ISO requirements.
• Check parts for quality and ensure documented inspection methods are followed.
• Maintain proper inspection documentation and lot traceability.
• Assist with scheduling based on Velocity Board priorities.
• Troubleshoot workflow and coordinate with support teams as needed.
• Motivate and develop team members; maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Uphold Tri-Mack core values and AS9100 requirements.
