Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline; hands-on laboratory experience.
- 6–8 years in life sciences, biotechnology, medical device, or diagnostic industries.
- 2–5 years in project or program management.
- Proven success leading NPD teams and delivering products through commercialization.
- Experience in Design Control, Change Management, and ISO-regulated environments.
- Preferred: Master’s/PhD; cross-functional leadership; PMP; regulated product development; large-scale NPI programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle from concept to commercialization.
- Manage large-scale NPI programs and product expansion initiatives involving hundreds of SKU introductions.
- Align stakeholders on objectives, priorities, timelines, risks, resources, and trade-off decisions.
- Drive successful execution of programs within multi-year product roadmaps.
- Facilitate timely, data-driven decisions across functions with balanced technical and commercial considerations.
- Lead technical reviews, design reviews, phase-gate reviews, and executive program reviews.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and communicate program risks; support portfolio management and continuous improvement.
- Promote project and program management best practices to improve development cycle times and launch predictability.
