  • Experience in Design Control, Change Management, and ISO-regulated environments.
  • Preferred: Master’s/PhD; cross-functional leadership; PMP; regulated product development; large-scale NPI programs.

  • Lead technical reviews, design reviews, phase-gate reviews, and executive program reviews.
  • Identify, assess, mitigate, and communicate program risks; support portfolio management and continuous improvement.
  • Promote project and program management best practices to improve development cycle times and launch predictability.

Program Manager – New Product Introduction

As a Program Manager, you will lead NPI programs under the Biosciences Reagents & Assays Segment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive excellence in product development and commercialization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross‑functional core and extended teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.
  • Manage large‑scale NPI programs and product expansion initiatives involving high‑volume SKU introductions.
  • Align stakeholders on program objectives, priorities, timelines, risks, resources, and trade‑off decisions.
  • Drive successful execution of programs within multi‑year product roadmaps.
  • Facilitate timely, data‑driven decisions across functions without direct authority, balancing technical, commercial, regulatory, quality, and operational considerations.
  • Lead technical reviews, design reviews, phase‑gate reviews, and executive program reviews to ensure adherence to global product development systems and design control requirements.
  • Identify, assess, mitigate, and communicate technical and program risks, and support portfolio management processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote project and program management best practices to improve development cycle times, launch predictability, and team effectiveness.

Location

USA, California – San Diego (BDB) – Primary work location. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Compensation

Annual salary range: $115,000.00 – $183,900.00 USD. Compensation is based on role and education, and may be influenced by location and applicable wage laws.
