Job summary

The Lafayette Engine Center (LEC) within Caterpillar Inc. seeks a Project Team Leader to guide a critical capacity expansion in the Large Power Systems Division.

You will drive cross-functional teams through NP I/NSI gateways, manage resources and costs, and ensure on-time delivery of 3600 engines/gensets across multiple functional areas. The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, proven team leadership, and strong program management skills in a high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
• Understanding of Caterpillar engine NPI/NSI process.
• Demonstrated experience leading and coaching cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and drive results in a complex program.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-visibility, cross-functional teams to deliver capacity expansion initiatives.
• Coordinate with Orders/Scheduling, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering to allocate resources.
• Oversee project progress, budget, and stakeholder communications.
• Develop and sustain project controls, and manage customer expectations.
