Job summary

International Motors, LLC is seeking an NPI Planner/Production Planner to support manufacturing readiness for new product introductions and production launches at our San Antonio facility. The role coordinates with NPI Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and other teams to plan, document, and validate content for production implementation.

We are expanding with a night shift (Mon–Thu 5:30 PM–4:00 AM) starting early 2027.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and no experience.
At least 2 years of production control/planning and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Support NPI activities for new vehicle programs, product changes, features, and launches.
Review drawings, BOMs, specs, and documentation to identify requirements for production.
Develop and validate preliminary routings and POA for new parts and changes.
Create and maintain Build Books and initial manufacturing documentation.
Perform station readiness reviews and coordinate with departments.
Coordinate readiness actions and follow up through completion.
Identify and communicate production jobs affected by NPIs and changes.
Provide hands-on production support during pilot, prototype, and initial builds.
Capture defects, lessons learned, and corrective actions.
Coordinate training and ensure required process documentation is available.
Audit PFEP and material readiness and POA requirements.
Maintain and communicate manufacturing readiness status to cross-functional teams.
