Caterpillar Inc. in Lafayette, IN is seeking an NPI Product Service Engineer / NPI Coordinator to drive and ensure timely completion of all Product Support deliverables for New Product Introduction programs.

This role collaborates with the field, dealer network and NPI team to deliver high-quality products. You will work closely with Field Follow Engineers to assess challenges and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement, with a firm closing date of 2026-10-27.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology preferred.
• Experience in product support and NPI processes is a plus.
• Strong customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.

Responsabilidades

• Create or update Caterpillar Publication as needed for the new product.
• Conduct a parts blitz and ensure new serviceable parts are stocked before production release.
• Conduct Serviceability Audits
• Evaluate the need for Dealer Tooling
• Update Dealer Training as needed
• Tracking and managing the status of projects from inception to release including the confirmation of reliability of field follow units
