Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Product Supply NPI Professional to support the New Product Introduction team within Cat Technology. You will ensure procurement and supply chain conformance, monitor NPI progress, and drive timely delivery for early builds.

You will partner with engineering, procurement, and operations to align strategies, manage supplier readiness, and control costs. This role requires onsite collaboration and travel to ensure successful product launches.

Experience planning, organizing, and tracking multiple initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead NPI supply chain activities to support product launches.
Collaborate with engineering, product, procurement, and operations to execute strategies.
Manage sourcing and supplier readiness, including selection aligned with strategy.
Forecast and manage launch-related procurement expenditures and tooling.
Develop and monitor conformance to cost, quality, inventory, and delivery targets.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to support decisions.
Participate in S&OP and program reviews to communicate status.
Apply lean and Six Sigma to improve performance.
