Job summary

Vanguard EMS, Inc. seeks a Customer Product Specialist to handle customer needs, problem solving, and coordinating resolutions. The role links production with customer requirements and negotiates changes to ensure product status updates and timely delivery.

The position involves managing NPIs/COs, handling RMA processes, and maintaining pricing data, with a focus on service excellence in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs) and MS Office tools.
• Strong understanding of circuit board assembly processes.
• Knowledge of Documentation Control and MRP Systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team with order management, buyers and production personnel.
• Service-oriented with negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage transactions for customer NPI process; collect and audit all needed information from customer.
• Initiate NPIs and COs in Agile.
• Coordinate and conduct NPI meetings to plan product introductions.
• Perform first-article debrief and transition product to production status.
• Receive and audit engineering change orders from customers.
• Coordinate business analysis for timing and impact of COs.
• Ensure effective implementation of COs and product phase-out.
• Issue and control RMAs for warranty returns.
• Coordinate and control product projects for non-warranty items.
• Communicate with customers regarding customer-owned equipment.
• Maintain master customer files and pricing data.
