Job summary

AZEK Group, LLC is seeking a NPI Process Engineering Intern in Ohio for a 12-week, full-time on-site program in summer 2027. You will participate in product development, process optimization, and validation projects while building engineering fundamentals, manufacturing knowledge, and project management skills.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze data, document results, and present findings to senior leaders. A strong academic record and U.S. work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Engineering with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Available to work full-time for 12 weeks during summer 2027.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
• Preferred: degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Plastics, Polymer, Materials, Manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Materials and Formulation Development: evaluate alternatives and increase low-cost material content; assist with capstock formulations and colors.
• Trials and Validation: support planning, data collection, validation for NPI trials; assist other engineers; analyze results and document conclusions.
• Manufacturing & Collaboration: collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, quality, R&D; gain exposure to plants; develop technical documentation.
• Project Communication: manage priorities, provide updates; prepare technical summaries, presentations, and final docs.
