Job summary

Molex, LLC is seeking an NPI Process Engineer to join our team in Hudson, WI. You will develop, document and improve manufacturing processes for new and current products to be built in our Hudson plant and other facilities.

You will act as the main process contact for projects, collaborating with the NPI team and operators to build prototypes that meet customer requirements and scale for production. You will lead DFMEA/DFM efforts, support PFMEA, drive product/process transfers, and identify

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with implementing new manufacturing methods and training others.
Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA & DFM documentation.
Experience with automated systems to identify opportunities and/or program new functions to improve process efficiency.
Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally 20–30% of the time.

Responsibilities

Develop and document manufacturing process flow, work instructions, and workmanship standards; train operators.
Collaborate with Design Engineering on DFMEA and DFM.
Lead PFMEA implementation for product types.
Lead product/process transfers to high-volume Molex plants; may include international travel.
Launch new product lines into low-volume manufacturing sites.
Support existing processes through problem solving and continuous improvements.
Investigate root causes and apply corrective actions; document quality issues.
