Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an NPI Operations Program Manager to guide small to mid-size programs from development through transition to production. You will coordinate Operations resources early in lifecycles, influencing design and building MTBP to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.

The role requires strong program management, cross-functional leadership, and experience with APQP/Lean Six Sigma. Onsite in a manufacturing environment, with comprehensive benefits and career growth

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of experience in manufacturing or material and supply environment.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between Operations, Program Management, Design Engineering, and the end customer for bids and proposals with minimal oversight from management.
• Help the Development PMT through the necessary activities to plan, build and transition a new product to the full-rate manufacturing environment.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate an accurate and achievable MTBP.
• Act as the primary Operations contact to the Life Cycle Program Manager, Engineering, and shared services teams to coordinate Operations support during product start-ups through transition to production.
