Job summary

Wabtec is seeking an Operations Development Lead Manufacturing Engineer - NPI to guide the transition of new products from design into manufacturing and supply chain. You will partner with product engineering to define manufacturing requirements and manage cross-functional deliverables to meet schedule, quality, and cost targets.

You will lead DFSS-driven programs, develop multi-year plans, review designs for manufacturability, and drive readiness across functions to ensure on-time production

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering/Operations Management or Applied Science.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment and product development.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally when needed to support Platform initiatives and global NPI’s.

Responsibilities

Lead the transition of new products from design to manufacturing and supply chain.
Develop schedules, track progress, and ensure on-time market launches with quality and cost targets.
Act as liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain; guide DFSS and NPI tollgates.
