Job summary

Wabtec Corporation in the United States is seeking a senior project manager to lead complex, multi-year new product development projects within the Bus Solutions division, coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, sales and quality.

You will manage detailed project plans, budgets, risks and scope, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and compliance with APQP and NPD processes, reporting to the Director of Engineering with a dotted line to the VP of North America

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET accredited).
• Master's degree, PMP, or equivalent PM certification is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in PM, engineering & manufacturing.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Strong planning, tracking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective leadership to coordinate cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex, multi-year new product development projects.
• Oversee cross-functional teams to meet time, budget, and quality targets.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans with timelines and budgets.
• Facilitate regular status meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and risk mitigation.
• Maintain change management processes for scope changes.
• Execute and support APQP and R&D/NPD processes.
