Job summary
Wabtec Corporation in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Operations Development Lead Manufacturing Engineer - NPI to drive the transition of new products from design to manufacturing. You will manage cross-functional deliverables, develop schedules, and ensure timely, cost-effective product launches with required quality.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and at least 3 years in manufacturing/product development, plus ability to travel domestically and internationally
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/operations management or applied science.
- 3+ years in manufacturing and product development.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead transition of new products from engineering to manufacturing.
- Develop schedules, track progress, and ensure on-time market launch.
- Collaborate with product engineering to define manufacturing requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate DFSS-based program execution.
- Participate in design reviews and manufacturing readiness assessments.
- Act as liaison between engineering and operations to resolve issues.
