Tomball Controls, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking an enthusiastic New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to guide products from concept to production. You will act as the primary liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and launched efficiently.

The role balances office-based engineering tasks—documentation, design reviews, project coordination, and process development—with hands-on production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, production engineering, or a related engineering role.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on work with products, tooling, test equipment, and processes.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI projects through all phases, from design release to full-scale production.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain for successful launches.
• Review drawings, BOMs, specifications, and manufacturing documentation for manufacturability.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing, assembly, and product performance issues during launches; drive root cause analysis.
• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Assist with fixture development, tooling, and test equipment for validation.
• Coordinate ECOs and maintain product lifecycle documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production to identify issues and drive corrective actions.
