Job summary

nVent is seeking an experienced New Product Introduction (NPI) Manufacturing Engineer to lead launch activities in Anoka, MN and Blaine, MN. You will drive NPI from kickoff through PPAP, ensuring safety, scalability, and quality as products move to production.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Design, Operations, and Supply Chain, developing APQP outputs, and resolving issues with ECNs while maintaining rigorous quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or similar.
• 3+ years as an Engineer OR 5+ years manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of NPI principles including ECNs and quality planning integration.
• Experience with FMEAs and control plans.
• Knowledge of GD&T and reading engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects from kickoff to PPAP, managing scope and budgets.
• Collaborate with Design, Operations, Program Management and Supply Chain to drive launch excellence.
• Align product design with manufacturing processes to scale production and quality.
• Document results and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Develop APQP outputs like FMEAs, control plans, and inspection instructions.
