Qualifications

• Associates degree with 2 years' experience as First Solar Manufacturing Engineer I or 3 years in engineering in desired areas; or 2 years engineering plus 6 years technical experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 2 years as First Solar Manufacturing Engineer I or 3 years engineering in manufacturing setting; or 2 years engineering plus 3 years technical in manufacturing.
• MS degree with 2 years as First Solar Manufacturing Engineer I or 4 years engineering in manufacturing setting; or
• PhD with 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of new process/product programs from pre-production to full implementation.
• Develop master schedule, downtime and ramp plans; manage budget and key risks.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders including GMO operations, ME sustaining and executive leadership.
• Develop qualification scorecards and track program status; manage program budget and downtime.
