Valcor Engineering Corporation in Springfield, NJ, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, and validate fixtures for new product introductions. You will collaborate with design and test engineers to create fixture lists and ensure manufacturability.

You will lead or support cross functional teams, implement lean manufacturing practices, and review ECOs to improve processes and reduce waste while maintaining quality and on-time delivery.

Competenze

• BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or technical equivalent.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering or relevant experience.
• Experience with fixture design.
• Understanding of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing tools.
• Proficient in Solidworks.

Mansioni

• Determine all needed assembly and test fixtures for NPI programs.
• Design, draw, manufacture, inspect, and validate fixtures for manufacturing, assembly, and test.
• Coordinate with planner/buyer on fixture jobs, priority, and schedule.
• Develop new and improve existing manufacturing, assembly, and test processes and cells.
• Review and approve ECOs for new and changes to drawings, documents, etc.
• Lead or support cross functional teams and structured problem solving to address quality problems.
