Job summary

Hunter Douglas, Inc. is seeking an NPI Lead to manage multidisciplinary teams in the plant for flawless new launches.

You will drive process implementation, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and collaborate with the Head Launch Engineering and Supplier Chain Team to learn and apply new processes. You will lead timeline development, coordinate process development, and define labor, cycle times, and standard work while guarding budgets and milestones to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent is required.
• 5+ years of experience managing projects.
• 3+ years of experience in process/manufacturing.
• 3+ years of leadership in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of project timelines and ensure deliverables, milestones, and budgets are met.
• Coordinate new process development and efficiency during launch and the initial 30 days post-SOP.
• Define direct labor requirements for new processes in collaboration with Engineering Site Lead.
• Define cycle times for all new operations and secure plant staff approval before SOP.
• Develop Standard Work for new processes to achieve targeted efficiency, including packaging.
• Maintain PFMEAs for new processes and lead reviews with multidisciplinary teams during launches.
• Coordinate Supply Chain activities in the plant to support launches and ensure timely industrialization.
