Job summary

Intuitive is seeking an NPI Engineering Technician onsite to support the build, integration, test, and troubleshooting of early-stage systems and electromechanical assemblies through Alpha, Beta, and early production phases. This role collaborates with engineering and manufacturing teams to execute builds and provide actionable feedback.

You will help develop manufacturing processes, fixtures, tooling, and documentation, and contribute to transferring knowledge to production with hands-on

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and BOMs.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and process issues with structured methods.
• Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support assembly, integration, bring-up, and testing of Alpha, Beta, clinical, and early production systems.
• Troubleshoot complex assemblies using engineering docs and diagnostic tools.
• Identify build/design issues; document findings and provide actionable feedback.
• Use hand tools and test equipment to assemble, inspect, and test components.
• Develop, modify, and evaluate fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing aids.
• Assist with transfer to production and training for technicians.
• Maintain 6S and safety standards in the workspace.
