Job summary

Intervala, LLC is seeking an Experienced Engineering Technician to support Design, Test, and New Product Introduction (NPI) teams in Mount Pleasant, PA. You will build, maintain, and improve test fixtures and systems, providing hands-on technical support to engineering and production groups.

You will troubleshoot assemblies, assist with fixture design, write procedures, and train technicians. A strong background in soldering, analog/digital/embedded troubleshooting, and IPC standards is required.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a related technical field with 4+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field with 2+ years of relevant experience
Strong soldering and rework skills (through-hole and SMT components)
Ability to read and modify schematics and wiring diagrams
Experience with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, LCR meters, spectrum analyzers)
Knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and ESD standards
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and repair test fixtures and test systems
Troubleshoot electronic assemblies, test cells, fixtures, and computers to component level
Assist engineers with test fixture design and prototype development
Write, evaluate, and update test procedures
Provide technical support and training to electronics technicians
Perform routine maintenance on test equipment
Support engineering projects and new product introductions
