Job summary

Areté is seeking an NPI Engineering Service Representative for its Santa Rosa, CA office. You will provide mechanical design, drafting, assembly, and production expertise in an NPI environment, supporting complex electro-mechanical and opto-mechanical systems for maritime and aerial applications.

You will join a full-time, exempt, non-supervisory team with a strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and customer-focused results.

Qualifications

• Strong Electronics and Mechanical background including assembly, tuning and troubleshooting of electronic/mechanical devices.
• Familiarity with reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics.
• Thorough understanding of techniques in the use of hand tools, soldering, crimping and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair, rework and troubleshoot complex electromechanical assemblies.
• Provide field and lab support.
• Maintain system files and assembly documents; ensure delivery deadlines.
