Job summary

Areté is seeking a motivated New Product Introduction Test Engineer to join our engineering team in Healdsburg, CA. You will work with experienced teams across test, systems, software, electrical, mechanical, and optical engineering to verify, validate, integrate, and troubleshoot complex electro‑optical systems throughout the development lifecycle.

This entry-level role offers mentorship toward owning subsystem testing, automation, documentation, and lab activities while supporting engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics, electronics, physics, or controls.
• Experience with lab instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Support integration and testing of electro-optical, electro-mechanical, and embedded systems during product development.
• Execute engineering test procedures for subsystem and system-level verification.
• Assist with developing, documenting, and improving test procedures, plans and reports.
• Configure and operate lab equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and environmental equipment.
• Collect, analyze, and document test data using engineering tools.
• Support NCRs, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions with Quality.
