Job summary

AMREP Supplier Management Services is seeking a New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to support the launch of new products from design through production. You will collaborate with engineering teams, customers, and global suppliers to ensure manufacturability, quality, and on-time delivery.

This role offers exposure across product development, manufacturing, and supplier relations, with opportunities to influence design for manufacturability and streamline early production activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, or product development.
• Experience working with suppliers or manufacturing partners.
• Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate new product introduction (NPI) activities from prototype to production.
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contract manufacturers on prototype builds and pilot production.
• Review engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications for manufacturability.
• Support ECOs and resolve technical issues during product launch.
• Assist with process documentation, validation, and quality requirements.
