Job summary

FashionUnited is seeking an NPI Engineer to establish repeatable manufacturing specifications for new designs across the development lifecycle. You’ll partner with NPI project leads to align prototypes, test runs and critical CRD documentation while providing routing recommendations and verified processes.

In this role, you will collaborate with CAD/CAM, Quality, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Finance and JDIW to drive early manufacturing decisions, write work instructions, and deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or 5 years of related experience.
Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
Proficiency with CAD software (Rhino, SolidWorks, Mastercam) and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with NPI team to define routing and manufacturing offsets.
Lead development phases and support manufacturing for the first 6 months post-launch.
Write product-specific work instructions with manufacturing and process teams.
Create process maps and define technical tasks for approved processes.
Maintain historical data libraries and prepare project status reports.
